Historically, pro bono work has been an unreliable source of support for the nonprofit sector. The Taproot Foundation has solved this problem by creating the structure necessary to consistently deliver high-quality pro bono work in volume.

We grant pro bono services to nonprofit organizations tackling society’s most pressing issues, specifically in the areas of:

• Education
• Social Services
• Environment
• Health

In addition, we only work with nonprofit clients that:

• Are classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the IRS
• Provide direct benefit to the residents of our regions (Bay Area, New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Boston, or DC)
• Are not seeking support for religious purposes
