A volunteer accountant will review the provided grant budgets and expense documentation and produce a concise written assessment summarizing budget-to-expense alignment, any discrepancies found, and recommended next steps or controls. Specific documents and scope will be confirmed with the volunteer during interviews.

Accurate financial reviews will help ensure funds intended for art, music therapy, and health research are used appropriately, strengthening credibility and supporting our mission to expedite research and improve clinical outcomes in music and medicine. Volunteer input will directly support better stewardship and program impact.

We have the grant documents ready to share and will provide them to the volunteer. Success will depend on timely communication, clarification of which grants and time periods to review, and agreeing on a short timeline during the kickoff conversation. Further specifics will be provided in interviews.
