People of Pro Bono: Regina Brown

People of Pro Bono:
Apr 15th, 2016 People of Pro Bono, Service Area: Marketing, Volunteer Consulting

Regina Brown isn’t just a marketing expert, yoga instructor, and lover of creativity, innovation, world culture, and active wellness. As a Taproot pro bono consultant since 2006, she’s donated 450 hours of service.

Pro bono service is an extension of your life’s work.

It broadens your perspective on the abundance of organizations being created for the betterment of the world in some shape or form. It inspires you to want to do more.

When I do pro bono, I bring with me numerous years of digital and traditional marketing, branding communications, and strategy experience working in the domestic and global realms. I have expertise in content creation, strategic partnership building, user experience and engagement, analytics, and integrated campaign development and implementation. I’ve applied my marketing skills across categories such as technology, consumer packaged goods, philanthropy, entertainment, fashion, beauty, education, finance, community, and the arts.

Refreshed marketing, inspiring change

Most recently I was asked to work on re-branding and key messages for Northern California Community Loan Fund. What a great team! We developed a collaborative and refreshing message that will hopefully reinvigorate the drive for outside parties to engage with Northern California Community Loan Fund by “Investing in opportunity, together”.

On my pro bono journey I hope to create inspiring change through my efforts.
