Our goal for this Taproot project is to get expert support to develop organizational and program budgets to be used for grant applications and support to generate accurate and timely financial statements for grant reporting purposes.
Working on this project the volunteer will support our mission by helping us ensure that we are providing the most accurate reflection of our finances - so that our current and potential funding partners have confidence in our operational capabilities so that we can sustain our vital programs and services that help people with substance use disorders and addiction fully recover and reclaim their lives so they can be productive citizens in our community.
We have these existing materials but need a better financial analysis and review to ensure that our documents accurately reflect the agency's financial position especially in light or recent program funding changes from our county government.

The mission of Free At Last: Community Recovery And Rehabilitation Services (Free At Last) is to rebuild the community from within, reclaiming addicts and giving people who failed in the past the chance to succeed in the future. Free At Last provides community-based, culturally appropriate bilingual (English/Spanish) treatment, intervention and prevention services designed to reduce the exceptionally high rates of substance abuse and HIV infection and to break the cycle of addiction, reunite and rebuild families torn apart by intergenerational addiction, provide alternatives to incarceration, and foster economic self-sufficiency.
