Today MasterCard hosts its first MasterCard Pro Bono Challenge, a unique, done-in-a-day, pro bono consulting event that leverages the skills of its employees to benefit the social sector. Six nonprofits, from small community-based organizations to large international organizations, will be matched with teams of MasterCard professionals who can provide expertise in areas like finance, marketing or strategy to address a challenge that each nonprofit wants to tackle. The goal of the event is for nonprofits to walk away with a concrete, actionable solution to their challenge.

Taproot has seen great success with the done-in-a-day marathon model and is excited to see the impact that over 30 MasterCard employees providing their time and expertise will have on participating organizations. We are looking forward to hosting ACCION East, Girl Scouts of the USA, Junior Achievement, NFTE, Pro Mujer, and WEDC.

Be the next one to make a difference in your community. Join MasterCard by initiating or enhancing your company’s pro bono program today.
