Graphic Design: Annual Impact Report

We are seeking professional help in designing our annual report/strategic plan for this school year. This would involve helping us turn our data and copy into a compelling visual narrative and graphic presentation that we can use to solicit support from our community. We are hoping to grow our organization next year, to support 50 schools with 250+ teacher leaders- with your support this will possible

The engagement will occur in 2 phases between July- August. Our ideal volunteer has experience designing brochures or reports and will be prepared to show us their portfolio of design examples. We hope you can spend 15-20 hours over the next 2 months.

Professional design help is a luxury that we cannot afford and yet lack of strong marketing materials is preventing us from growing our organization. As we work to retain Chicago's excellent teachers in the classroom to teach our most underserved students, we would be so appreciative of help from a Taproot volunteer!

We have:
-Logo/Visual Branding Guidelines
-Page by Page Copy that includes:
--Testimonials
--Metrics/Stats to include
--Photos (appropriately tagged to the copy)

Timeline:
End of June/July:
-Meet with a skilled designer and chat through basic layout options + design direction

By End of July:
- Designer works on design direction options
- We will finalize written copy for the report

August:
- Designer moves forward based on the selected design direction
- Max 2 rounds of Review (1 round to ensure design choices match with the intended message in copy, 1 round for small final tweaks)

We hope to have an annual report created by mid March that will be shared on our website, sent to our board of directors, and used as a fundraising tool for the coming school year.
