Project Management Support for Community Block Party

We are looking for a project manager to help with our plans for a Community Block Party occurring in June. This project should be doable by 1 skilled volunteer throughout 6 to 9 weeks. This will involve ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within the budget, and meeting quality standards.

The Community Block Party will be hosted by Dream Academy Foundation in order to bring people together to foster a sense of unity, belonging, and camaraderie within the community. This is about creating a fun and inclusive environment where residents can socialize, build relationships, and strengthen community bonds. We also aim to promote local business' and provide entertainment for all ages. Intended participants will be between 500-700 people in the community. This event will include a farmers market, food trucks, games, vendor stations, and music to name a few things. The management of this event provides good experience in managing multiple tasks focused on various disciplines for example, budgeting, marketing, volunteerism, event planning, etc.

Various committees and tasks have been created to be prepared for the event. This event marks the 3rd annual Community Block Party hosted by Dream Academy Foundation where experienced staff is established to implement this event. The method of communication for the event will be via email and weekly meetings.
