Transition From LiveImpact to Salesforce
CEN has been utilizing the platform LiveImpact as our CRM over the past few years. However, we have found that it is not meeting the needs of our organization effectively. For example, we are unable to pull certain donor reports without paying an extra fee. As a nonprofit, this added cost restricts our ability to conduct precise, data-driven outreach to donors and prospective supporters, which is critical to our fundraising efforts and overall mission. Our aim in partnering with a Taproot volunteer is to gain support in transferring our entire donor base from LiveImpact to Salesforce, as well as embedding the updated donation page into our website and landing pages.

We have thoroughly researched CRM options and determined that Salesforce aligns best with our organizational needs. To ensure a smooth transition, we engaged in in-depth team discussions to identify specific requirements and the key reasons for needing a more robust CRM solution. This process highlighted the benefits of improved data management, better donor engagement, and streamlined reporting. Our implementation plan includes a phased approach, starting with data migration, staff training, and custom configurations for our upcoming campaigns, such as our Fall Appeal, Giving Tuesday, and our 30th-anniversary celebrations. This will allow us to effectively utilize Salesforce's features to strengthen donor outreach and optimize campaign outcomes.
