CRM Development

Through working with SODC on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us be better positioned to raise the funding that allows children and adults with intellectual disabilities to always participate at no cost.

As mentioned, we've already engaged a fundraising consultant so we have a clear roadmap for the work including how the CRM system is part of that effort to improve our overall fundraising program. Having a CRM is a critical foundational step so we are fully committed to making it happen as soon as possible. Project outcomes include our ability to have accurate data that is integrated with our other systems and use it to manage contacts and communications with our donors and supporters.

To prepare for our conversation, we're ready to brief you on the key technology platforms we use to run our organization. We are working with a fundraising consultant and are doing all of the necessary prep work to get ready to implement the new CRM system so we can have a smooth and successful implementation. We have begun gathering data, assessing our needs, looking at system requirements and researching with other nonprofits to glean their experience.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
