About the Opportunity

Our nonprofit needs a CRM system to build a stronger infrastructure and support growing our fundraising.

We're looking for someone to evaluate and advise us about our technology tools, specifically to implement a CRM system. Our team will share a detailed description of our existing systems and the tools we use for email, file sharing, program management, web hosting, web design, and customer relationship management (CRM). After assessing our basic needs, you'll make recommendations to our team about which CRM system to choose and implement. You'll need to keep our team and budget size in mind when considering tech solutions.

Through working with SODC on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us be better positioned to raise the funding that allows children and adults with intellectual disabilities to always participate at no cost.

As mentioned, we've already engaged a fundraising consultant so we have a clear roadmap for the work including how the CRM system is part of that effort to improve our overall fundraising program. Having a CRM is a critical foundational step so we are fully committed to making it happen as soon as possible. Project outcomes include our ability to have accurate data that is integrated with our other systems and use it to manage contacts and communications with our donors and supporters.

To prepare for our conversation, we're ready to brief you on the key technology platforms we use to run our organization. We are working with a fundraising consultant and are doing all of the necessary prep work to get ready to implement the new CRM system so we can have a smooth and successful implementation. We have begun gathering data, assessing our needs, looking at system requirements and researching with other nonprofits to glean their experience.
