Tableau Data Analysis Review

We have developed a Tableau data visualization using Census Quarterly Workforce Indicator data. This shows the number of workers by ethnicity, race and industry at the national, state and county level. We need the assistance of someone well-versed in Tableau and data analysis to help double check our work and brainstorm about an issue we ran into when calculating median earnings at the state and national level.

Through working with us, the volunteer will help complete a comprehensive Tableau that will be publicly released and available for anyone across the nation to use. We believe that nothing like this has been previously released and it will be a huge resource for nonprofits, economic developers and policy makers. This is why we want to make absolutely sure the data is as accurate as possible.

The tableau is 95% complete. The design has been created and all functionality has been tested. Our last bit is the calculations for the earnings at the state and national level. Most likely we'll need to compute weighted medians, or, ideally use the bespoke totals the Census has already created. We need help with the calculations to use for Tableau.
