Apply Now

Our nonprofit is searching for a grant writer or talented copywriter to assist our team in reviewing a grant proposal and making updates.

To implement this grant writing project, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and create a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits which the volunteer will make the agreed-upon changes to the document.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by ensuring TrackGirlz continues to provide life-changing opportunities for girls in track and field. By helping us refine and strengthen our grant proposal, the volunteer will play a crucial role in securing funding that directly impacts young athletes—allowing us to expand our programs, provide essential resources, and create equitable access to the sport.

Every edit, revision, and recommendation will contribute to breaking down barriers for girls who aspire to compete, grow, and thrive through track and field. This project will help us reach more athletes, provide financial assistance for training and competition, and fund empowering initiatives like mentorship programs and wellness resources. Volunteers will not only help shape a high-quality grant proposal but also become part of a movement that champions equity, confidence, and success for young girls in sports.

By lending their expertise in grant writing and copyediting, volunteers will make a tangible impact—ensuring TrackGirlz has the necessary funding to sustain and grow our mission of empowering the next generation of athletes.

We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format. (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.) We'll also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
