Mobile App Development
Project Overview:
The mobile application will serve as a digital resource hub designed to support youth in underserved communities. It will integrate key features such as:
Interactive Content & Resources: Educational materials, mental health exercises, and guided activities.
Mentorship & Community Support: A secure space for youth to connect with mentors and support groups.
Gamification & Engagement Tools: Reward-based systems to encourage participation and personal growth.
Scheduling & Progress Tracking: Tools for goal setting, tracking achievements, and scheduling check-ins.
Developer/Coder’s Role:
We need a skilled developer/coder to:
Collaborate with a UX designer to bring the app’s wireframes and design concepts to life.
Build and integrate core functionalities (e.g., user authentication, interactive modules, content management).
Ensure the app is user-friendly, scalable, and secure across mobile platforms.
Why Your Help Matters
By volunteering your skills, you’ll help bring critical resources to youth who need them most. This app will:
* Provide mental health support & coping tools
* Connect youth with mentors & positive influences
* Encourage goal-setting & personal growth
* Offer a creative, interactive experience for engagement
With our UX designer already working on the prototype, we’re looking for a developer to bring this vision to life. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of young people by providing them with accessible, digital support that meets them where they are.
We’ve gathered key materials, including a feature list, wireframe concepts, and user experience goals, to provide a clear foundation. While this is our first Taproot Plus project for mobile development, we’ve successfully collaborated on branding, marketing, and digital outreach initiatives.
Once developed, this app will be a core tool for engaging and supporting youth in underserved communities. Our internal team is ready to implement it into our programs and drive adoption. We’re excited to work with a volunteer developer and ensure a productive, collaborative experience.
