Equity on Fire (EOF) is dedicated to promoting fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all firefighters and emergency service workers, regardless of race, gender, or background within the national fire service. Our goal is to work with a volunteer to create, organize and implement Equity on Fire's first major fund-raising campaign.
This grant writing and development project will directly support Equity on Fire's (EOF) mission by securing the necessary funding to expand our programs, outreach, and advocacy efforts. By obtaining financial resources, we will be able to develop and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the fire service, ensuring fair treatment, access, and advancement for all firefighters, regardless of race, gender, or background.

Additionally, this project will help strengthen EOF’s infrastructure, enabling us to provide leadership training, policy advocacy, and community engagement initiatives that foster a fire service where every firefighter feels valued, respected, and empowered. Through strategic grant development, we can scale our impact, increase awareness, and drive meaningful change within fire departments nationwide.
EOF has identified key leadership positions within EOF, recently revamped our website, created a 5-year strategic plan, have social media and digital media teams in place.
