Development Consulting - Institutional Giving Strategy

Our Wichana Foundation is operating with revenue from individual donations and small family foundations. In order to be truly sustainable and increase our impact, we hope to attract institutional/foundation funding. We are looking for a development expert to assist us in moving in that direction.

We encourage potential volunteers to take a look at our website (built with the assistance of a Taproot volunteer expert). You will see an array of projects and initiatives that strengthen the health, education, and culture of indigenous communities in Ecuador. We are in a position to scale up and serve more communities with additional funding.

We have had three very successful project with Taproot volunteer experts and we have done a good job of working collaboratively. We are appreciative of the time commitment of the volunteers and work hard to provide whatever information and input is needed.
