I want to establish a Research Center for Fatherhood within Innovative Technology Strategies to collect and analyze data on fatherhood challenges, best practices, and program effectiveness. The goal is to use this research to develop evidence-based solutions, improve mentorship programs, and influence policy advocacy for father-inclusive initiatives.

The skilled volunteer will help with data analytics, research compilation, and survey development to support our programs like MetaDad and Journey 2 Manhood. This will enable us to make data-driven decisions that enhance our impact on fathers, young men, and communities.

We are seeking a data analytics and research volunteer to support the launch of our Fatherhood Research Center. This project will involve:

Reviewing Existing Research – Analyze data from fatherhood programs, mentorship initiatives, and weekly fatherhood Zoom calls to identify trends and insights.

Developing & Administering Surveys & Polls – Create structured surveys for fathers, mentees, and mentors to gather quantitative and qualitative insights.

Data Compilation & Analysis – Organize and interpret survey responses, program outcomes, and engagement metrics to identify impact areas.

Reporting & Recommendations – Develop data-driven reports and presentations to inform program improvements, fundraising efforts, and advocacy initiatives.

Building a Research Framework – Help lay the foundation for long-term data collection, setting up key performance indicators (KPIs) and impact tracking methods.

The volunteer will work 2-5 hours per week over a limited period, helping us establish the first phase of the Fatherhood Research Center. Their insights will be instrumental in shaping how we scale our programs, enhance mentorship models, and advocate for fatherhood support policies.

By working with Taproot, we aim to create a sustainable research process that continuously informs and improves our fatherhood initiatives, ensuring long-term success and measurable impact.

Our leadership team, including myself (CEO & Founder), board members, and program coordinators, is fully aligned with integrating data-driven insights into our mentorship and fatherhood programs.

We have already begun discussions on how research findings will inform program improvements, advocacy efforts, and funding proposals.

Existing Data & Resources Ready for Review:

We have existing research, past survey responses, and engagement metrics from our weekly fatherhood calls, MetaDad mentorship program, and Journey 2 Manhood initiative that the volunteer can use as a starting point.

Access to real-world data from fathers and mentees will enable the volunteer to analyze and extract valuable insights efficiently.

Clear Project Goals & Deliverables:

The volunteer will receive a structured research framework with clear objectives:

Phase 1: Review and organize past program data.

Phase 2: Develop & implement new surveys/polls.

Phase 3: Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations.

Phase 4: Assist in creating a Fatherhood Research Report to be shared with stakeholders.

The work will directly inform program development, fundraising, and advocacy efforts.

Technology & Collaboration Tools in Place:

We will provide access to Google Drive, Microsoft 365 and survey platforms (Google Forms) for seamless collaboration.

Regular weekly check-ins via Zoom or Teams will ensure ongoing communication, support, and feedback.
