My goal for this project is to work with a volunteer to create a standard operating procedure manual, templates for marketing and development, and basic training in Asana for our small team.
We are in a time of internal culture change and internal growth. Having Asana as a project manage tool will help us focus our attention and build our capacity to focus on our public facing organization needs.
We have Asana and some of our staff are using it but we want to make sure we have the platform set up for scale and optimized and that staff have the basic tools to run with using it effectively.

Organization Mission

Founded in 1978, Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center provides quality music, dance, theater, martial arts and PreK programs for more than 750 students a year. Group and private lessons provide study in modern/jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, and African dance forms, martial arts, piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, woodwinds, brass, drum, violin, and voice. In addition, Mind-Builders offers free programs for teens: Positive Youth Troupe theater, Community Folk Culture program and Production Corps. A vibrant part of the Bronx community, Mind-Builders is committed to maintaining both professional artistic standards, and a nurturing, engaging environment. Mind-Builders strives to make its programs accessible to all: providing financial aid, ensuring that the facility is clean and accessible. Mind-Builders offers a trusted service of excellence, aspiration, and dependability. Our services are high quality and are made available to all families. We believe the opportunity to reach, to stretch and bend to the discipline of art is a powerful and enlivening experience for all. That is our goal and that is the mission to inspire the growth of youth, families and the community through quality arts and education programs.
