IT Security and Internal Controls Audit

We're looking for a volunteer with IT security expertise, experience with cybersecurity audits, or knowledge of the best practices in internal IT controls who can dedicate between 2-5 per week over the next few months to conduct a comprehensive audit of our organization's IT systems and internal controls. Our primary goals for our volunteer are to:
-Identify vulnerabilities in our current IT infrastructure and areas requiring enhanced controls

-Assess and strengthen our online security systems and procedures
-Review our internal IT support structure and processes
-Recommend improvements for our cybersecurity measures

This project will support our organization's mission by aligning cybersecurity and IT governance with broader organizational goals, ensuring the safety of sensitive information, and fostering trust among stakeholders. By identifying vulnerabilities, strengthening internal controls, and enhancing cybersecurity measures, the project mitigates risks, ensures compliance with regulations, and supports business continuity. This alignment creates a secure foundation for achieving strategic objectives, optimizing resources, and maintaining operational efficiency, ultimately enabling the organization to fulfill its mission with resilience and integrity.

We have admin access to our systems and can walk through our needs and where we have our greatest opportunities.
