We're looking for a volunteer with experience setting up a bookkeeping system and/or software from scratch! You'll help us set up regular recording, reconciliation, and reporting practices by spending 20-25 hours with us over 4-5 weeks. In our first meeting, we'll share a detailed description of our existing financial record-keeping and reporting systems. In phase one of the project, you'll migrate our data over to our new software and help us set up our account administrator privileges for our users. In the second phase of our project, you will provide one or two of our team members with basic training. We ask that you make yourself available for up to two weeks to address our questions as we adjust to the new software and systems.

True-Liif is at an exciting turning point—we’re now generating real revenue to empower West Georgia’s underserved youth through STEAM camps, mentorship programs, and life-changing field trips. As we grow, we need your financial expertise to build strong accounting foundations that will ensure every dollar makes maximum impact. By setting up clear processes for grant tracking, donor transparency, and budgeting, you’ll help us scale responsibly—from serving 1,200+ youth annually to reaching 2,000+ by 2025. Your pro bono support will directly translate into more meals for food-insecure campers, more field trips to places like Kia Plant and Google, and the successful launch of our True-Connect digital mentorship platform. This 4-week project offers flexible hours but creates lasting change: you’ll leave us with financial systems that outlive your involvement, giving our team the clarity to focus on changing lives. Join us in this pivotal moment—your skills will ensure our growing revenue transforms into even greater community impact.

We've do not have any accounting software and aren't sure which to choose. Since we are still early stage, we need Free (but will settle for low-cost if necessary). We will designate a member of our team who will manage the volunteer and the project.
