WordPress Customization Support

We seek a web developer to customize our nonprofit WordPress website. The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The developer should also assess our technical capabilities. The project's deliverable is the customization of a predesigned WordPress theme that we can easily update and build upon as we grow.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our theme to create a customization plan and design options including site structure, and other visual elements.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteers will support our mission by helping us establish an online destination to reach our target beneficiaries.

We've already developed some language for the site that we will share with you, as well as samples of sites we like, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We're still working on branding collaterals but will have them ready for this project.
