Our nonprofit is seeking a grant writer or experienced copywriter to help us review and refine a grant proposal that supports our mission of widening access to top universities for underrepresented students.

We anticipate two key meetings. In the first, we’ll provide the draft proposal and walk through the grant guidelines, discussing expectations and timelines. The volunteer will then review the proposal using tracked changes, noting areas for clarification, flow, and alignment with funder goals. We’d like the project to include up to two rounds of edits, culminating in a polished proposal ready for submission.

By refining this proposal, the volunteer will directly contribute to Project Access’s mission of creating a fairer, more inclusive path to higher education. Our work supports thousands of high-potential students who face systemic barriers to opportunity. Strengthening our grant application will help us secure crucial funding to scale mentorship programs, expand outreach, and empower the next generation of leaders, regardless of background.

We’ve secured internal capacity for this project, a dedicated team member will coordinate with the volunteer, share relevant materials, and implement feedback. The proposal and grant guidelines are already compiled in an editable format (Google Docs or Word). We’re prepared to move quickly and incorporate suggestions effectively, ensuring the volunteer’s input directly strengthens our funding application.
