Nonprofit Coach or Strategic Consultant to Support an Early-Stage Refugee Organization

Creshendo is looking for a compassionate, strategic volunteer who can serve as a thought partner and coach for our Executive Director. This operation is barely a year old, and yet without any funding, we’ve already expanded across five continents. We have a team of about 40 volunteers who are driving meaningful change in refugee communities around the world.

Still, we are a young organization, and our Executive Director is doing this for the first time. She is leading with heart and vision, but she could really use the guidance of someone who understands nonprofit growth and leadership. Someone who can help her think clearly through operations, team management, prioritization, and how to build toward sustainability.

We would love support with:
• Strengthening internal operations so we can grow without burning out
• Coaching and mentorship on leadership and decision-making
• Advice on team and volunteer management across time zones
• Feedback on our short-term priorities and long-term direction
• A safe space to ask questions and get perspective from someone who has done this before

This can be a light but steady partnership. Even a few hours a month would make a real difference.

Creshendo exists to support refugee communities through education, entrepreneurship, and storytelling. Our programs are designed to shift power to the people most impacted and to create long-term solutions that are community-led and sustainable.

But to keep going and to grow with intention, our leadership needs strong roots. This project is about making sure the person leading the vision has the support she needs to do it well. Your coaching will help shape not just how we operate, but how we sustain our mission and care for our people along the way.

You will be helping us build something that lasts.

We are ready. Our Executive Director is organized, committed, and fully prepared to implement any guidance you offer. We have documentation about our programs, impact, internal structure, and leadership goals. We have already brought on a pro bono attorney, created foundational systems, and built a passionate global team that deeply believes in our mission.

What we need now is someone who has walked this road before. Someone who can provide clarity, direction, and steady encouragement as we take our next steps. You will be supported, respected, and valued as a true part of our growth.
