Our nonprofit needs support crafting a templated communications plan. We hope to use this framework for the summit we're putting on in August to promote our young Nonprofit founders.

We need your expertise to communicate big moments for our nonprofit clearly, concisely, and consistently to the right audiences.
- Create a list of outlets and press opportunities that we might be able to leverage to promote the nonprofits in our cohort, from cancer to computer science education in Haiti, food drives to elementary school climate literature.

-The templated communications plan should take into account our current marketing tools and staff availability

This project should take from 12-24 hours to complete. We're hopeful that our volunteer partner will share 2-5 hours of their time per week.

We are on a mission to highlight future nonprofit founders who otherwise are burning out. TRIIBE doesn't take any fee, and instead acts as a pure funnel to philanthropically inclined college founders. We want to highlight their work to a broader audience so as to raise better awareness and direct more attention to positive news about how youth are taking action to enact change.

To prepare for the creation of this communications plan, we have taken stock of existing email, PR, or social media tactics that have worked well for our team in the past. We also have a team dedicated to supporting this work and expanding our outreach, especially as our summit draws near.

Organization Mission

The Problem Today, over 4,000 student-led nonprofits exist in the U.S., but nearly 80% fade within a year, often driven by college applications rather than long-term aspirations. After graduation, running a nonprofit grows harder, with less than 1% of funding reaching youth organizations. Our Mission To help 100 Sophomores scale their nonprofits throughout college, without burning out Our Vision A future in which committed nonprofit directors are in every graduating class Our Model College is a rare window of opportunity, a space before real-world pressures fully set in. That’s where TRIIBE comes in: personalized support for five sophomores each semester, affirming their path and sustaining their vision. We provide: - Funding: $5000 Cash prizes to scale impact - Mentorship: Guidance from experienced leaders to optimize strategies - Community: Opportunities to connect with other young changemakers
