Hope for Haitians is seeking a skilled volunteer to assist in transforming raw survey data collected via Solstice (mWater) into meaningful performance and impact indicators. This project will focus on designing a scoring system that translates qualitative and quantitative survey responses into numerical scores, enabling effective comparison, reporting, and analysis.

In addition to creating the scoring methodology, the volunteer will help design visually accessible reports that integrate these scores. These reports will support both internal performance reviews and external impact communications for donors, partners, and board members.

Key tasks will include:
- Reviewing and understanding survey structure and question types in Solstice
- Designing appropriate scoring formulas for different types of responses (e.g., Likert scales, binary responses, qualitative entries)
- Automating or simplifying score calculation workflows for recurring use
- Collaborating with staff on the structure and layout of summary reports
- Producing sample report templates to guide future reporting
Hope for Haitians works to provide sustainable solutions to rural poverty in Haiti, including housing, clean water, food security, education, and basic healthcare. Each dollar spent should create measurable and lasting change.

This project helps ensure that by:
- Turning survey data into standardized scores that reflect the success of our programs
- Creating clear, digestible reports that communicate our progress to stakeholders
- Supporting data-driven decision-making to improve outcomes and resource use

Your work will help demonstrate our impact with clarity and confidence, ensuring that donors and partners understand the tangible value of their support—and enabling us to continuously improve the way we serve Haitian families in need.
Hope for Haitians already has an active Solstice (mWater) account and a library of completed survey data from more than 600 households. The Executive Director will serve as the primary contact and can provide access to the platform, survey structure, raw data, and relevant past reports.

Project communication will be managed through Slack and Trello, with optional use of Microsoft Teams or Zoom for check-ins. This role builds on our broader monitoring and evaluation goals, and the outcomes will integrate into our automated reporting and donor engagement workflows.

We’re ready to begin with full access to data and a defined vision—we now need the technical and analytical support to bring that vision to life.
