Impact Data Infrastructure: Airtable

Our organization is looking to maximize the way we collect and analyze impact data to better demonstrate our value to stakeholders and position ourselves to secure capacity-building revenue!

We're in search of a volunteer to help us implement and optimize our impact data infrastructure by recommending improvements to our current data collection processes across our organization and developing a data tool to visualize key data insights.

This project will include the following potential tasks:

-Conduct an audit of our current data collection processes and the type of data points currently collected
-Recommend enhancements for Airtable-based data collection processes to ensure we're capturing the most relevant data to demonstrate our program impact
-Develop a data visualization tool on Airtable or some other similar low-code / no-code tool that allows our organization's board of directors and executives to track our key performance indicators (KPIs), identify program trends, measure program activity, track retention, and pull key impact insights from our program-related training activity.

By optimizing our infrastructure for collecting and analyzing impact data, we'll be better equipped to further improve our ability to demonstrate our value to potential funders and secure empowering financial resources.

Through your work you are helping contribute to the success of this nonprofit at a pivotal time in its life as a 501(c)(3) public charity. We've focused on improving our program operational experience for those we serve, are seeing a lot of positive impact results, and are about to form heavy nonprofit operations in fundraising. We need these impact measurements to be showcased and tracked in elegant ways that don't hinder the executive director with manual work given they are the only employee of the nonprofit (and also a volunteer before we fundraise). Your work will greatly contribute to our sustainable success into the future.

To support the execution of this project, the volunteer will have access to staff members who work closely with our data collection and reporting processes, mainly the executive director who compiles and tracks this data today. We will provide details about our program, mission, and vision, as well as materials currently used for data collection (e.g. surveys intake forms, budgetary information about program expenses, etc.) Additionally, we'll share how we're currently using data to communicate with key stakeholders and support our fundraising efforts.
