Our nonprofit is searching for a grant writer or talented copywriter to assist our team in reviewing a grant proposal and making updates.

To implement this grant writing project, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors and create a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits which the volunteer will make the agreed-upon changes to the document.
Your expert review of our grant proposal will help us secure our first grant funding as a new nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing immigrant stories that build understanding across communities. By providing feedback on our proposal, you're helping ensure we present our mission to amplify immigrant voices in the most compelling way possible to funders. Your insights directly contribute to our ability to obtain the resources necessary to collect hundreds of immigrant narratives, create educational content, and establish Stories of Immigrants as a lasting platform for these vital stories.
We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format. (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.) We'll also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
