We’d like a 2-month (September–October) content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, featuring 3–4 posts per week with captions, hashtags, and content type (photo, reel, carousel). The volunteer will help us map out content themes (e.g., introducing kirtaniyas, history of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, behind-the-scenes planning, calls to action for donations or tour bookings).

A consistent, strategic social media plan will help us reach a global audience, raise awareness for the tour, inspire participation, and generate donations, directly supporting our mission to uplift Sikh women through Gurbani Kirtan.

We’ll provide our brand guidelines, existing photo/video assets, key tour dates, and content ideas we’ve already brainstormed. Our team will implement the posts according to the calendar and report back on engagement.

Organization Mission

GAAVANI is a female empowerment organization founded in 2022 that uplifts women through the power of Sikh spiritual music. Our focus is on amplifying female voices through Kirtan - a devotional and meditative music practice that is central to the Sikh faith. In just 3 years, GAAVANI has successfully hosted national events across California, Texas and New Jersey. We are now preparing for an ambitious international expansion: a 2-week tour across India this November featuring 31 female Sikh musicians performing in 9 historic cities. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Sikh world and a chance to create history.
