We’d like three professionally written and designed email newsletters to inspire donations for the GAAVANI India Tour. The volunteer will help create compelling subject lines, engaging copy, and simple layouts that can be implemented in Squarespace.

Email campaigns will reach our most engaged audience directly, driving donations that make the India Tour possible and helping us fulfill our mission of uplifting Sikh women through Gurbani Kirtan.

We’ll provide our brand guidelines, donor list, key messaging, and example past emails.

Organization Mission

GAAVANI is a female empowerment organization founded in 2022 that uplifts women through the power of Sikh spiritual music. Our focus is on amplifying female voices through Kirtan - a devotional and meditative music practice that is central to the Sikh faith. In just 3 years, GAAVANI has successfully hosted national events across California, Texas and New Jersey. We are now preparing for an ambitious international expansion: a 2-week tour across India this November featuring 31 female Sikh musicians performing in 9 historic cities. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Sikh world and a chance to create history.
