We are seeking a skilled graphic designer to create a professional, versatile logo for The Neurorights Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to leverage emerging technologies for social good and safeguard them from misuse or abuse.

This logo will be used across our website, social media, printed materials, and event signage, so it should work well in both color and black-and-white, and be scalable from small digital icons to large banners.

Tasks include:
-Collaborate with us to understand our mission, values, and target audience.
-Develop 2–3 initial design concepts based on our input and brand vision.
-Refine the selected concept based on feedback.
-Deliver final logo files in multiple formats (PNG, JPEG, SVG, and PDF) with transparent background versions.
-Provide a simple style guide with logo usage recommendations, font details, and color codes.

The goal is a sleek, memorable, and mission-aligned logo that establishes our visual identity and is immediately identifiable.
Our nonprofit publishes research, collaborates with international partners, and presents at global forums such as the United Nations. To be taken seriously in these high-profile spaces, we need a professional, cohesive visual identity. A strong logo will help us stand out, build credibility, and ensure our work is immediately recognizable — whether on a policy report, a presentation slide at the UN, or a social media campaign. This project will directly support our mission by amplifying the visibility and impact of our research, making it easier for our findings to influence decision-makers and inspire action worldwide.
We’ve aligned internally on our branding goals and gathered key materials: our mission statement, background, and examples of designs we like. A single point of contact will provide timely feedback and keep the process moving smoothly. Once complete, the logo will be used immediately across our website, social media, print materials, and event signage to strengthen our brand presence.

Organization Mission

The Neurorights Foundation promotes innovation, protects human rights, and ensures the ethical development of neurotechnology (devices capable of monitoring or manipulating brain activity). The Neurorights Foundation is committed to unlocking the future of brain science and innovation, a future where neurotechnology is leveraged for social good and safeguarded from abuse. We focus on five key areas of impact: 1. Governance: Setting Standards and Safeguarding the Space The Neurorights Foundation plays a leading role in establishing policy frameworks and governance models for the rapidly evolving neurotechnology industry. We work closely with global policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to define the rights at stake, clarify the science, and develop narrowly tailored legal standards to ensure that ensure neurotechnologies are developed and used responsibly. By prioritizing accountability and transparency, we protect both the public and the potential of this transformative field, safeguarding individual rights and societal well-being while growing public trust in consumer neurotechnologies. 2. Expert Consultations: Guiding Responsible Innovation Our team of neuroscientists, lawyers, and human rights specialists provides expert consultations to governments, companies, and organizations working in the neurotechnology space. The Neurorights Foundation offers guidance on a range of areas, including responsible innovation, human rights and ethics, international advocacy efforts, legislative strategies, and the current and future impacts of emerging technologies. Whether it’s designing privacy policies, drafting laws, ensuring compliance with new regulations, or scenario planning for the future, our team collaborates with key stakeholders to guide industry practice and inform government policy so that innovation can safely flourish. 3. Public Education: Empowering Informed Decision Making The future of neurotechnology should be shaped by neurotechnology users, and by everyone who will inherit the world that brain science is quickly transforming. Through educational initiatives, public outreach, media engagement, and thought leadership, the Neurorights Foundation works to demystify the neurotechnology landscape and promote public participation in the governance and commercialization of neurotechnologies. Our team convenes global experts and fosters open dialogue to ensure that all individuals have access to clear, accurate, and accessible information that allows meaningful participation and complete understandings of the possibilities and risks associated with emerging neurotechnologies. 4. Research: Illuminating the Scientific, Legal, and Social Dimensions of Neurotechnologies The Neurorights Foundation is dedicated to understanding the profound implications of brain science and innovation on society. With a team of top minds in science, law, and policy, we conduct cutting edge research at the intersection of neurotechnology, society, and the future of the brain. Our research seeks to understand and anticipate the vast potential of emerging neurotechnologies, while building an evidence base from which to proactively respond to the legal and societal implications they present. Through original research studies, legal analyses, and compilations of relevant scientific breakthroughs, we identify the opportunities and challenges of neurotechnological innovations, mapping the transformative potential of brain science and keeping the public abreast of emerging trends and developments. 5. Non-Discrimination, Equity, and Access: Ensuring Fair Access to Neurotechnologies As neurotechnology evolves, it is crucial that it is developed with fairness in mind, and that its benefits are distributed equitably. The Neurorights Foundation is committed to ensuring that all people—regardless of background, ability, identity, or socio-economic status—have access to neurotechnologies capable of improving their quality of life, and that emerging technologies do not reinforce social disparities. We advocate for inclusive policies, research funding, and initiatives that reduce inequalities, while addressing ethical concerns related to access, affordability, and discriminatory design. The Neurorights Foundation seeks to make neurotechnology a tool for unity, understanding, and progress, not division and disparity.
