Program Marketing Strategy (Email Marketing Focus)

Our organization would like to work with a marketing consultant to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for our program offerings to increase participation and funding support of these offerings.

These online programs consist of three distinct approaches to our organization’s offerings and theory on collaborative work. We’d like to reach new audiences and participants in the environmental, conservation, and community health sectors.

Through working with ICL on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us reach more environmental, community health, and conservation leaders who would benefit from critical training and capacity-building support. In an era of unprecedented challenges facing nonprofits—from policy shifts to reduced funding—our programs empower collaborative networks that amplify collective impact beyond what any single organization could achieve independently.

Our organization has 35 years of experience and expertise supporting leaders, organizations, networks, coalitions, and alliances in the environmental, conservation, and community health sectors. We work nationwide with a variety of groups, including nonprofits, foundations, federal, state, local, and tribal governments, academic institutions, coalitions, and collaborations. All three of these programs are currently available for registration on our website. We send out promotional emails for program registration and post on LinkedIn. Our staff also has individual outreach lists for networks and groups that are either not on our email list or who will receive a personalized outreach email. We recently had some new templates designed for our programs by our designer to help with the content flow and understanding of the programmatic differences for our audiences. Our web developer is implementing these to help with marketing and promotion purposes.

Our team agrees we do not currently have the expertise to take our program marketing to the next level. The project outcomes will be shared with our team through a presentation by our Communications and Program Manager, who will also implement any suggestions. We have available these tools: Google Analytics, Beehiiv dashboard, approval for Google Ad Grant, Mailchimp, etc.
