I’d like to work with a Taproot volunteer to create a clear revenue model and diversification strategy for my nonprofit, Blessed on Purpose.

While I have a strong vision and programming plan, I need guidance in identifying the right mix of funding sources (grants, individual donors, fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and earned revenue opportunities). I’d like support in mapping out 2–3 potential earned income streams that align with our mission, as well as best practices for balancing fundraising with grant opportunities.

Blessed on Purpose empowers young girls through mentorship, faith-based guidance, and college and career readiness support. A strong revenue model will allow us to sustain programming, expand to more schools, and increase access to resources for the girls and families we serve. By supporting this project, the volunteer will help build long-term financial stability so our organization can continue to impact the lives of young women in our community

My team and I have prepared for this project by creating a draft operating budget, launching initial programming, and developing clear language around our mission and services. We are committed to weekly check-ins, gathering all financial information needed, and implementing the strategy we create with the volunteer.
