My goal for this Taproot Project is to create a modern logo, color palette, and brand guidelines that reflect Torus’s mission of reducing food waste through free residential composting in New Jersey. The volunteer will provide initial concepts, revisions, and final assets that we can use across our website, social media, and outreach materials.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us build a professional brand that strengthens community recognition, attracts donors, and encourages more households to participate in free composting. A clear and consistent brand identity will directly help us scale services, educate the public, and reduce food waste across New Jersey.

My team and I have prepared for this project by compiling our mission, vision, impact data, examples of past designs, and a clear outline of the audience we serve. We’ve discussed project goals internally and are ready to provide timely feedback, ensuring the volunteer’s work will be implemented directly across our website, outreach campaigns, and donor communications.
