Social Media Platform Growth

We're looking for a skilled volunteer to help TAARA develop and manage a consistent, mission-aligned presence across our social media platforms. The goal is to increase awareness, engagement, and support for our work supporting survivors of human trafficking and prevention and education programs for children and their caregivers across the U.S. and India.

What we’d like your help with:
- Auditing our current social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Creating a simple content strategy and posting schedule
- Designing and scheduling posts (using tools like Canva)
- Helping us grow our audience through relevant hashtags, outreach, and engagement
- Advising on best practices to maintain an impactful, sustainable online presence

TAARA’s mission is to support survivors of human trafficking rebuild their lives, gain financial independence and prevent future victimization. We believe prevention is power, and reaching people early can change (and even save) lives.

This social media project is essential to expanding our reach. The more visible and engaging our content is, the more young people, parents, and educators we can connect with. Your work will help us educate, raise awareness, and build a supportive online community around healthy relationships, consent, and personal boundaries.

By helping us strengthen our digital presence, you’ll be directly contributing to a safer, more informed generation. This isn’t just about posts and hashtags, it’s about creating real-world impact through communication that resonates, informs, and empowers.

We’ve already gathered key materials: logos, past social media content,and mission language to help you hit the ground running. We’ve also identified our goals and target audience, so you’ll have clear direction from the start.

We’re responsive, organized, and open to feedback. Once the strategy is in place, we’ll implement it actively and keep it going beyond the scope of this project.
