Our #1 priority is a server migration, followed by push notifications, and notifications for public trips.

Through working with bewelcome.org on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by directly improving the online experience for our members and expanding our reach. By helping us with our server migration, you'll ensure our platform is faster and more reliable, making it easier for people to connect and share stories. Your work on push notifications will help us engage more users, keeping them informed about new opportunities to volunteer, donate, and get notified of visitors in their area. This technical expertise translates directly into a more robust and active community, helping us grow our impact.

Our non-profit is 100% volunteer based, but have sys adm and developer buy in. We have a board of directors who are aware and positive about the need for these critical developments. There is a person to person point of contact with deep organisational knowledge. All your work will be implemented and will be felt by all 250,000 members from around the globe.
