Website Updates & Enhancements

We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help implement several structural and visual updates to the NAEHD website. The goal is to improve clarity, navigation, and engagement while staying aligned with our branding and mission.

Tasks include:

• Add a new top-level tab called Our Work, with two subpages:
-Research
-Advocacy
• Under the existing News & Initiatives tab, add a new subpage titled: Policy Alerts
• Under the existing News & Initiatives tab, add a new subpage titled: Chief's Corner
• Under the existing About Us tab, add a new subpage titled: Organizational Memberships & Affiliations
• Update the navigation bar to incorporate NAEHD branding colors


What we’re looking for:
• Someone who can work independently and offer creative input
• Familiarity with website structure, navigation, and light design
• Ability to implement updates cleanly and test for mobile responsiveness

This project is part of a broader effort to make our site more engaging and mission-aligned. We’re excited to collaborate with a volunteer who can help us bring these updates to life.

NAEHD exists to end health disparities and advance health equity through research, education, and advocacy. This website project strengthens that mission by improving how we communicate our work and engage the communities we serve. Clear navigation, updated structure, and visual enhancements will help visitors understand our priorities, access timely resources, and take part in our initiatives. Volunteers supporting this work will help amplify our impact and create a more accessible, mission-aligned digital space for patients, professionals, and partners.

The NAEHD website already has a strong foundation in structure, style, and branding. I’ve clearly mapped out the updates we need, including new tabs, subpages, navigation changes, and homepage improvements. I’ll be the main point of contact and will provide visual assets, sample content, and direct feedback to keep things moving. These updates will be implemented immediately and support our outreach and education efforts. I’m organized, responsive, and ready to collaborate efficiently to make the most of the volunteer’s time.
