Improving Marketing Strategy & Materials for Donor-Advised Funds

Our nonprofit is seeking support to strengthen our fundraising strategy through a focus on attracting support from donor-advised funds (DAFs). We are searching for a volunteer who can audit our current pitch materials for this audience, then optimize them.

We want to build a sustainable foundation for future growth by identifying new opportunities, refining our messaging, and developing creative approaches to engage DAFs. We want to revamp our GiveButter donation page, create a fundraising strategy, and market our strategy to both individuals and donors.

We need your expertise in fundraising and business development. We are looking for a skilled fundraising professional to:
- Review our current fundraising practices and suggest strategies for growth and sustainability
- Develop targeted outreach strategies for donor-advised funds and other institutional funders
- Craft messaging and marketing materials tailored to DAF holders and financial advisors
- Provide recommendations on cultivating long-term donor relationships and tracking engagement

This project should take between 12–24 hours to complete. We’re hopeful that our volunteer partner will share 2–5 hours of their time per week.

This project will support HJI’s mission by helping us expand and diversify our funding streams, ensuring that our advocacy and programs can continue to grow and serve our communities.

To prepare for this project, we have outlined our past fundraising activities and identified priority areas for growth. We will implement the results of this project by incorporating the strategies and outreach materials into our development plan moving forward.
