We’re seeking a talented Writer to help us create clear, compelling, and mission-driven written content that shares the heart of our work and inspires action. Storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to engage supporters, attract funding, and connect with the communities we serve. With your help, we want to ensure our messaging is as impactful as the programs it supports.

The volunteer will support us by:

Crafting Engaging Content: Write impactful stories, articles, or blog posts that highlight our mission, programs, and community impact.

Developing Organizational Messaging: Create or refine content for our website, newsletters, social media, and marketing materials to ensure a consistent, inspiring voice.

Creating Donor and Partner Communications: Draft compelling copy for outreach, thank-you letters, or campaign materials to deepen relationships and inspire support.

Providing Editorial Guidance: Offer recommendations on tone, structure, and messaging to strengthen our future communications.

With 2–5 hours per week over several weeks, your words will help us connect with audiences on a deeper level and move them to engage, support, and champion our cause.
Words have the power to inspire action, build trust, and create lasting change. By strengthening how we communicate our mission, you will help us attract more supporters, deepen community engagement, and secure the resources needed to expand our programs.

Every story you write will help people understand why our work matters and how they can be part of it. Your writing will amplify our voice, broaden our reach, and ultimately ensure that more individuals and families gain access to the education, wellness, and support services they need. This project isn’t just about crafting content—it’s about fueling movements, building communities, and changing lives.
We’ve laid the groundwork to make this collaboration seamless and impactful. Our team has identified key stories we want to tell, audiences we want to reach, and messaging priorities that align with our strategic goals. We also have brand guidelines, past communications, and background materials ready to give you a clear sense of our voice and mission.

A dedicated staff contact will provide timely feedback and direction throughout the project, ensuring that your writing aligns with our vision. Once the content is complete, our internal team will integrate it across digital channels, marketing campaigns, and donor communications—ensuring your words continue to make an impact well beyond the project’s completion.

Organization Mission

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
