We’re seeking a dedicated and collaborative Committee Coordinator/Member to help us organize, strengthen, and guide committee initiatives that are vital to advancing our mission. Committees are where strategy meets action — they bring together passionate leaders, subject matter experts, and community advocates to shape programs, guide decisions, and launch impactful initiatives.

The volunteer will support us by:

Coordinating Committee Activities: Assist with planning meetings, developing agendas, managing follow-ups, and keeping members engaged and aligned.

Supporting Strategic Initiatives: Contribute ideas, feedback, and expertise to help committees make informed recommendations and decisions.

Facilitating Collaboration: Help strengthen communication between committee members, staff, and stakeholders to ensure projects move forward smoothly.

Documenting and Reporting Progress: Track key outcomes, decisions, and next steps to ensure accountability and continuity between meetings.

With just 2–5 hours a week over several weeks, your leadership and organizational skills will help ensure that our committees are effective, strategic, and driving meaningful outcomes.
Effective committees are essential to driving our mission forward. They help shape programs, build partnerships, guide strategy, and ensure that our work remains responsive to community needs. By supporting these leadership bodies, you will help us make better decisions, move projects forward more efficiently, and create more impactful outcomes for the people we serve.

Your contributions will enhance collaboration, improve governance, and unlock new opportunities for growth. Most importantly, you’ll help translate big ideas into real-world change — ensuring that our committees are not just groups that meet, but powerful engines of action that strengthen our impact and expand our reach.
We’ve taken key steps to ensure a successful collaboration. Our leadership team has identified priority committees and strategic areas where volunteer support will make the greatest impact. We have established committee structures, defined roles and responsibilities, and prepared materials — including past meeting notes, annual goals, and work plans — to give you a strong foundation.

A dedicated staff liaison will be available to support you, provide timely feedback, and ensure smooth communication. Once systems are in place and processes improved, our internal team will manage committee activities using the tools, structures, and strategies you help develop.

Organization Mission

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
