Assess our QuickBooks setup and create clear, user-friendly procedures for recording transactions, tracking donations and in-kind hours, and accounting for grant awards and project expenditures. Provide recommended chart-of-accounts adjustments, QuickBooks configuration tips, and example entries. Specifics will be discussed during interviews.

Accurate tracking of donations, in-kind contributions, and grant spending will help the Legacy Foundation ensure funds directly support students' educational, socio-emotional, and wellness programs in Jasper County. Better records increase transparency, compliance, and the ability to secure and manage funding for programs and safe spaces.

Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. We will share current transaction examples and work with the volunteer to test and refine procedures. Staff will collaborate on walkthroughs, review recommendations, and implement agreed changes with volunteer guidance and short follow-up support.
