Grant Proposal Research and Drafting

Identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission and goals and draft a compelling grant proposal that communicates the impact of our internship program. Specifics such as eligibility, deadlines, and supporting materials will be provided and refined with the volunteer during interviews.

Important Notes:
- Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the required skills and be able to commit at least 4 hours per week.
- Please include a LinkedIn profile to streamline the application.
- Candidates seeking CPT/Internships or OPT are not eligible.
- Wednesdays from 6–7 PM ET are reserved for Taproot meetings. Please keep this time block in mind when proposing additional meeting times. No-shows without prior notice will not be rescheduled.

Winning grant funding will help sustain and grow our internship program, advancing our mission to connect patients with high-quality care, advocacy, and EHR-integrated resources. Volunteers will directly enable greater access, inclusivity, and empowerment for people living with complex diseases.

Details will be provided. We will collaborate closely with the volunteer, review findings together, and refine the proposal through regular check-ins. Volunteer work will be used directly to inform applications and next steps.
