Website Development & UX Enhancement Project

Our goal for this Taproot Project is to create a streamlined, modernized, and fully functional web presence for Bright Mind Enrichment and our Street Care initiative. As our organization continues to expand—particularly through new outreach efforts to vulnerable populations and the development of our micro-school project—we require updated websites that clearly communicate our mission, support increased engagement, and integrate with additional digital platforms.

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to assist with:
- Updating and enhancing our WordPress and Wix websites
- Improving user experience and implementing updated design elements
- Assessing and defining technical requirements to support our rapid growth
- Addressing occasional code-related issues

Our aim is to build a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable web ecosystem that strengthens our digital communication and organizational capacity.

This project is essential to advancing our mission of uplifting individuals and communities through innovative programs such as Wellness Week, Street Care, and our emerging micro-school initiative. A strengthened digital presence will greatly enhance our ability to communicate our work, reach underserved populations, and mobilize volunteers.

An improved website will:
- Increase accessibility to resources for individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable groups
- Strengthen volunteer recruitment and engagement, which is central to our outreach efforts
- Enhance our credibility and visibility among partners, supporters, and media outlets
- Provide a consistent platform to showcase new and expanding initiatives
- Deepen engagement for the millions of people who interact with our programs and content

Through this project, the volunteer will play a direct role in expanding our impact, supporting organizational growth, and helping us more effectively serve the communities that rely on us.

Our team has prepared for this project by taking the necessary steps to ensure a structured, efficient, and well-supported experience for our volunteer. We have:
- Received full support and alignment from our leadership and program teams
- Gathered existing website materials, including design assets, content, and technical documentation
- Identified priority areas requiring updates or redesign
- Established clear goals for user experience improvements and platform integrations
- Assigned a dedicated point of contact to facilitate timely communication and decision-making

We have also created an internal plan for implementing and maintaining the final deliverables. Our team is fully committed to providing prompt feedback, transparent collaboration, and ongoing support to ensure a successful partnership.
