Social Media Strategy & Campaign Planning for International Yoga Day Miami
Specifically, we are seeking support to:
Define target audiences and priority platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Develop content themes and messaging pillars aligned with our mission and event goals
Create short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels) by selecting, sequencing, and captioning existing short video clips
Draft a simple posting cadence and content roadmap that our internal team can continue to use
All photo and video assets will be provided. The volunteer will not be responsible for filming or advanced video production, but will help transform existing clips into cohesive, engaging social media content.
We anticipate collaborating over several weeks with clear milestones and check-ins, aligned with a 2–5 hour per week commitment. This project will strengthen our social media presence and build internal capacity to consistently promote large-scale community wellness events.
This project will directly support our mission by expanding awareness and participation in International Yoga Day Miami, a large-scale, community-focused wellness summit offering free or low-cost access to yoga, meditation, education, and mental health–supportive practices. By transforming existing video and photo content into engaging short-form social media storytelling, the volunteer will help ensure that thousands of community members learn about the event and feel welcomed to attend.
The impact extends beyond a single event. The social media framework, content templates, and reels created through this project will strengthen our long-term capacity to promote inclusive wellness programming, attract future partners and sponsors, and grow a healthier, more connected community. Volunteers will see their contributions translate directly into increased visibility, attendance, and access to preventive wellness resources for the people we serve.
We have gathered and organized the materials needed to support this work, including brand guidelines, prior-year performance data, audience demographics, and a library of short video and photo assets that can be used to create social media content. We will also provide clear context on our mission, tone, and success metrics at the start of the project.
The volunteer will have structured check-ins, defined milestones, and timely feedback to ensure efficient collaboration within a 2–5 hour per week commitment. All recommendations, content templates, and short-form videos created during the project will be implemented directly by our internal team and reused for future events, ensuring the work has lasting impact beyond a single campaign.
