We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help develop an integrated digital communications and donor outreach strategy for Droste MH Services for 2026. This project will include social media strategy as well as guidance on donor communications such as email outreach cadence, newsletters, blog content, and other digital touchpoints. The focus is on defining clear goals, audiences, messaging priorities, and a sustainable communications plan aligned with organizational capacity. The volunteer would help assess our current communications efforts and translate insights into a practical strategy and roadmap.
Clear and consistent communication is essential to sustaining mental health services and maintaining trust with clients, donors, and community partners. This project will help Droste MH Services communicate responsibly about impact, needs, and services while strengthening relationships with our donor community. A thoughtful outreach strategy supports financial stability, increases awareness of services, and reinforces accountability. Volunteers supporting this work will contribute directly to the organization’s ability to continue providing accessible, ethical mental health support to the communities we serve.
Organizational leadership is aligned on the importance of a coordinated communications and donor engagement approach. We can provide background on our mission, programs, services, donor base, and existing communications materials. Access to current social media accounts and email platforms can be provided for review. A primary point of contact will be designated to ensure timely feedback and decision making. The resulting strategy will be implemented internally, with ownership clearly defined once the volunteer engagement concludes.
