Develop Grant Narratives and Boilerplate for Health Equity Programs
NAEHD is a national non-profit organization committed to ending health disparities in rural, marginalized, underserved, and many other communities through research, education, and advocacy. We are preparing to pursue several healthcare-related funding opportunities in the coming weeks. A skilled volunteer partner can help us develop clear, compelling, funder-aligned proposals that reflect our mission and the communities we serve.
This project will include:
-Drafting and refining grant narratives for healthcare, rural health, food access, and other initiatives serving under‑supported and marginalized communities
-Developing reusable boilerplate language such as organizational overviews, mission statements, need statements, and general program descriptions
-Reviewing eligibility criteria and shaping strong, defensible responses aligned with funder priorities
-Editing and polishing existing drafts to ensure consistency, coherence, and alignment with industry best practices
-Helping create a small library of templates including budgets and standard attachments as time allows
The volunteer would collaborate with me directly for as much time that is needed throughout the duration of the project. The volunteer would also be expected to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
By supporting our grant writing capacity, the volunteer is helping us expand our work and reach more people and communities that have been under supported for far too long. Their time and skills will translate into more resources, stronger programs, and a greater ability for NAEHD to drive the systems‑level change our mission drives.
