We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help us strengthen and streamline our internal administrative and operational systems as we scale Black Girl Magic Day into a year-round youth empowerment initiative. This short term project focuses on improving workflows, organizing key documents and processes, and recommending simple, sustainable systems our team can use moving forward.

The goal of the project is to help streamline internal workflows and create more operational bandwidth for our Program Director and leadership team as we expand into 2026–2027.
Black Girl Magic Day empowers girls through confidence, creativity, and leadership. As we expand from a singular annual event into a year-round youth program, operational efficiency becomes mission-critical. Strong administrative support allows our team to communicate clearly, manage relationships, and deliver high-quality programming for families and partners. By strengthening the back office, this volunteer directly contributes to our sustainability and long-term community impact.
Our team is prepared with existing background materials, program calendars, community partnerships, volunteer coordination documents, and current communication systems. We will provide clear priorities, shared calendars, and defined operational responsibilities. We are ready to respond quickly, provide feedback, and implement organizational recommendations from the volunteer to ensure the work has meaningful impact.
