Our organization aims to strengthen and expand our grant development capacity by partnering with a skilled volunteer who can support us in researching funding opportunities and drafting high-quality grant proposals. We seek assistance in identifying relevant federal, state, local, and private funding streams that align with our mission and ongoing initiatives such as Wellness Week and Street Care.

The volunteer will help us produce a number of well-structured, compelling grant proposals; refine our internal grant content library; and organize a streamlined system for tracking deadlines, application requirements, and status updates. With the support of a knowledgeable specialist, we hope to elevate the precision, clarity, and competitiveness of our grant submissions to sustain and grow our impact.
By supporting our grant research and proposal development efforts, the volunteer will play a direct role in expanding our ability to bring vital resources to the communities we serve. Strengthened grant capacity enables us to grow initiatives such as Wellness Week and Street Care—programs that promote emotional wellness, social connection, and compassion for individuals facing hardship.

The volunteer’s contributions will help us secure funding that fuels innovative outreach, scales our programs, and increases our organizational sustainability. In doing so, they will be advancing our mission to uplift individuals, foster community care, and create meaningful positive change for millions of people. Their time and expertise will ultimately translate into measurable impact across our local and national service initiatives.
Our team has taken several steps to ensure a smooth and successful collaboration. We have secured internal buy-in from leadership and program directors, gathered foundational program materials, and organized documentation regarding past grant applications. We have also assembled data on program outcomes, budget templates, and reporting structures that the volunteer may need for proposal development.

Additionally, we are designating a primary point of contact to ensure timely communication and access to all relevant stakeholders. The systems we have established will allow the volunteer to work efficiently and enable our organization to fully integrate the outputs of this project into our long-term funding strategy.

Organization Mission

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
