Corporate Sponsorship Strategy
To prepare for this project, we have:
• Clarified our program model, target population (youth ages 13–20), and core offerings, including career exposure, academic enrichment, and workforce readiness
• Identified initial corporate engagement touchpoints already in place (guest speakers, site exposure, in-kind support), which will serve as a foundation for a more strategic approach
• Established leadership and board support for pursuing mission-aligned corporate partnerships rather than transactional sponsorships
• Designated a primary project lead who will coordinate communication, provide timely feedback, and ensure efficient use of the volunteer’s time
During the engagement, we will support the volunteer by:
• Providing clear documentation on our mission, programs, outcomes, and growth goals
• Sharing existing outreach materials, decks, and partnership conversations for context
• Offering quick turnaround on decisions and feedback to keep momentum strong
• Being realistic and transparent about our current capacity so recommendations are actionable
Implementation is a priority, not an afterthought. The completed Corporate Sponsorship Strategy will be:
• Used to develop sponsorship packages and outreach materials
• Integrated into partner and funder conversations led by organizational leadership
• Shared with our board to support warm introductions and relationship-building
• Applied immediately to upcoming program cycles and fundraising efforts
We value collaboration, clarity, and respect for a volunteer’s limited time. By coming prepared, staying engaged, and committing to execution, we aim to make this a meaningful and well-managed pro bono experience that results in real, lasting impact for both the volunteer and the young people we serve.
