We are seeking a skilled volunteer to write a 1,200-word feature article highlighting global travel, four blog posts on travel-related topics, and a concise set of best-practice travel tips formatted for web. Specific angles, word counts, and audience priorities will be discussed with the volunteer during interviews.

These pieces will expand Harlem Collective Opera’s media presence by connecting travel stories to African American cultural experiences, documenting cultural legacy, and creating accessible content that engages artists, students, and audiences globally. Volunteers will help amplify representation and educational outreach.

Details will be provided during the volunteer interview, including target audience, tone, and deadlines. The organization will share any available background materials and will provide timely review and feedback so the volunteer can produce publish-ready copy.
