We want to work with a volunteer to help build a fundraising and partnerships pipeline in preparation for our Pink Carpet event and youth programming. This includes identifying potential partners, sponsors, and donors; and drafting outreach materials. With 2–5 hours a week, the goal is to create and manage a pipeline of warm leads and partnerships that our development team can move forward.
This project helps us build the relationships and partnerships that make our programs possible. Our mission is to empower girls through creativity, representation, leadership, and confidence-building. By helping us connect with sponsors, donors, and partners, this project will help us raise the funding needed to run our Pink Carpet event and programming at low or no cost to families. Volunteers working on this project will be helping open doors and build partnerships that translate directly into impactful experiences for girls.
We have internal buy-in for partnerships and fundraising and have begun building our development department to support these efforts. We already have mission clarity, program information, event dates, and interest from families and partners in our programming. We will provide materials such as our mission, program descriptions, sponsorship information, and Pink Carpet event details so the volunteer has context and language for outreach. We also know who will take over relationships and move them forward once they are opened. The work from this project will plug directly into our fundraising and partnership efforts for our upcoming Pink Carpet event and programming.
