Treedom for Palestine is a growing international nonprofit working with smallholder farmers in the West Bank to establish climate-resilient “Freedom Farms” — protected, irrigated olive micro-farms that provide long-term livelihoods, land security, and food sovereignty.

As we scale from a founder-led organization into a more formal, multi-partner operation, we are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us assess, design, and document our core digital systems.

We are looking to complete a Tech Systems Assessment & Recommendations project that will:

Map our current digital ecosystem, including:
-Google Workspace
-Email marketing (MailerLite)
-Donations (Zeffy)
-CRM / contacts
-Grant tracking
-File management and internal documentation
-Finance and accounting workflows
-Identify gaps, redundancies, risks, and inefficiencies

Propose a clear, future-facing systems architecture for:
-donor and partner management
-program tracking (farms, farmers, regions)
-communications and reporting
-internal operations and knowledge management

Deliver concrete outputs such as:
-a systems map / diagram
-recommended tools and integrations
-automation opportunities (e.g. Zapier/Make)
-a short implementation roadmap

The goal is not simply technical cleanup, but to design a scalable, human-friendly operating system that can support
Treedom’s growth over the next 3–5 years.
Treedom for Palestine works in one of the most complex and fragile agricultural environments in the world. Our mission is to help farming families stay on their land, build economic independence, and develop climate-resilient livelihoods through sustainable agriculture.
As our impact grows, our internal systems must grow with it.
This project will directly support our mission by:
Enabling us to manage more farms, farmers, and funders without burnout
Improving transparency and accountability for donors and partners
Freeing up staff time for program work instead of administrative friction
Laying the foundation for scalable growth
In short, this project helps ensure that Treedom’s operational capacity can match the scale of the impact we’re trying to achieve — turning a founder-driven organization into a durable, well-structured institution serving hundreds of farming families.
We're well-prepared to support this project. Our founder will serve as the primary point of contact and is deeply familiar with all current systems and workflows. We have:
Full access to all relevant platforms
Documentation of current processes
A strong internal desire to standardize and systematize operations
Buy-in from leadership to implement recommendations
We will provide:
A dedicated weekly check-in
Access to all systems needed for assessment
Prompt feedback
This project builds directly on ongoing work to professionalize our operations as we grow our partnerships with major institutional funders and international NGOs.
