We are seeking a volunteer for a 4–12 week engagement to create a grant strategy for three arts institutions, a prioritized list of potential funders, a completed flagship proposal, recommended submissions for the year, and a two-year grant calendar. Specifics and supporting materials will be provided during volunteer interviews.
This grant strategy will help Harlem Collective Opera secure funding to preserve and advance African American culture through opera, music, storytelling, and community programming. Volunteer support will expand access for artists and students, strengthen representation, and help document cultural legacy.
Details will be provided. Volunteers will interview staff to gather materials, draft the strategy, funder list, proposal, and submission plan, and iterate with the team so outputs can be used directly for grant submissions and the two-year calendar.
